02 - 6 slices deli turkey or ham (optional for vegetarian: substitute with cheese slices)
03 - 6 slices cheddar or Swiss cheese
04 - 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
05 - 12 thin chive stems or green onion tops for tying
→ Graduation Caps
06 - 12 square crackers (such as Wheat Thins or similar)
07 - 12 round chocolate truffles or mini peanut butter cups
08 - 12 small pieces of fruit leather or thin licorice strings for tassels
09 - 2 tablespoons melted chocolate for assembly
# Directions:
01 - Lay out one tortilla and spread a thin layer of softened cream cheese evenly over the surface. Place one slice of deli meat (or cheese for a vegetarian option) and one slice of cheese on top. Roll the tortilla tightly into a log shape, then cut it in half to create two diploma wraps. Secure each wrap by tying a chive stem or green onion top around it to resemble a diploma scroll. Repeat this process for all tortillas and fillings.
02 - Place a small dab of melted chocolate on top of each truffle or mini peanut butter cup. Gently press a square cracker onto the chocolate to form the flat cap top. Cut pieces of fruit leather or licorice into small strips to serve as tassels. Attach a tassel to the top of each cap using a small amount of melted chocolate.
03 - Arrange the diploma wraps alongside the graduation cap treats on a serving platter.
