Sweet pineapple, lime, and a hint of jalapeño blended with water and agave for a bright, cooling summer drink.

01 - 4 cups fresh pineapple, peeled and cubed
02 - 1 medium jalapeño, seeded and chopped (keep seeds for more heat)
03 - Juice of 1 lime
→ Liquids & Sweeteners
04 - 3 cups cold water
05 - 2 tablespoons agave syrup or granulated sugar, adjustable to taste
06 - Ice cubes, for serving
# Directions:
01 - Place the pineapple, jalapeño, lime juice, agave syrup (or sugar) and cold water into a blender.
02 - Blend on high speed until the mixture is homogeneous and free of large pieces, about 30–60 seconds depending on blender power.
03 - Sample the beverage and adjust sweetness or heat: add more agave or sugar to increase sweetness, or additional chopped jalapeño (including seeds) for more spice.
04 - For a silky texture, pass the blended mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher, pressing with the back of a spoon to extract liquid; discard remaining pulp.
05 - Fill glasses with ice, pour the agua fresca over the ice, and garnish with pineapple wedges or thin jalapeño slices as desired. Serve immediately.
