# Directions:
01 - Spread softened butter evenly on one side of each bread slice.
02 - Place 4 bread slices, buttered side down, on a clean surface and top each with 2 cheddar cheese slices.
03 - Distribute dill pickles, fresh jalapeño slices (if using), and chopped pickled jalapeños evenly over the cheese on each sandwich.
04 - Drizzle hot sauce over the pickles on each sandwich to taste.
05 - Cover with remaining bread slices, buttered side up.
06 - Heat a large nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat.
