# Directions:
01 - Preheat oven to 400°F. Lightly grease a baking dish large enough for the cod fillets in a single layer.
02 - Pat cod fillets dry with paper towels and season lightly with freshly ground black pepper. Arrange them evenly in the prepared baking dish.
03 - In a mixing bowl, combine crushed Ritz crackers, melted butter, chopped parsley, paprika, and lemon zest until evenly moistened.
04 - Generously sprinkle the cracker mixture over each fillet, pressing lightly to ensure it adheres.
05 - Pour dry white wine or fish stock carefully around the fillets in the baking dish, avoiding soaking the topping.
06 - Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, until the fish flakes easily with a fork and the topping is golden brown.
